Buy it at the UT store

Barrels are of good quality. I chose to buy 2 30gal barrels, rather than 1 55gal barrel, just for portability (240lbs when full, vs 470lbs for 55gal). Shipping charges are extravagent when compared to buying at the store. Store price is $34.95 plus tax - a great price. Online the discounted price is $64.95 plus $9 shipping charge, a $39 difference, and not so good a deal. Price for 2 shipped would be $141.90 vs $79.90 plus tax in the UT store, a $66 difference, which is not apparent when buying online, since the extra cost is embedded the online price. Kudos for the low in-store price, but masking the true shipping fees is a bit deceitful. I would have preferred that the true shipping fees were honestly identified.

Thank you for your feedback! We have chosen to advertise with a low flat rate shipping fee and no additional shipping costs for our water barrels. We feel that additional shipping fees for water barrels or other heavy (or large) items on top of our flat rate can be confusing and some would view any extra charges as ‘hidden.’ Thanks again for providing us with your feedback and perspective.

Have not tested this as far as the 5 year mark or anything like that, my review is strictly on value. While most of the other survival stores are selling this at $100 +; then tacking on $40 fees for shipping, I can't possibly see why you would buy this anywhere else. Depending on who you compare this to- you could almost get 2 for 1.
